On 17 September 2021, GAZHP representatives in Lusaka formally handed over personal protective equipment to the Ministry of Health. The PPE was donated by Zambian care-service owners in the United Kingdom and shipped to Lusaka by GAZHP.

GAZHP representatives in Lusaka worked hard to manage the collection and clearance logistics of the shipment from the UK. Kenya-based GAZHP member Dr. Melissa Kapulu, who was in Lusaka at the time, together with Mr. Norman Chipakupaku (affectionately known as "General") and other GAZHP representatives, handed over the PPE and pulse oximeters to Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary Dr. Kennedy Malama.

GAZHP requested that the equipment be earmarked for distribution to rural hospitals and healthcare centres, where the need is often greatest.
