Membership Questions
Do I need to be Zambian to join?
Professional and Student membership is open to all Zambian health professionals — doctors, nurses, administration, technical and support staff — as well as Zambian students in advanced programs. Corporations can join as Corporate Members, and others who wish to collaborate can join as Sponsors & Partners.
I'm based in Zambia, can I still join?
Absolutely! GAZHP welcomes both diaspora and locally-based Zambian healthcare professionals. Local members are essential to everything we do.
Are membership fees tax-deductible?
GAZHP is a registered US 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Membership dues paid by US taxpayers may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Because membership comes with benefits, dues may be treated differently from a donation, and rules in other countries differ, so please check with your tax advisor.
How do I apply?
